Ok - I've been a few times and I'm confused, so God help the newbies. Could someone who knows how to do it post a map on this thread, so I can work out where exactly you're all talking about?

Thanks

I think I have camped in big ground, spring ground, dairy ground (Paynes field?) and possibly dragons field but i really don't know, and I definitely don't know the places where I haven't camped in any degree of helpful detail.

Love the thread though - it's exciting!

Great thread though. Been up in the camper van field for the last 4 GF's and aint camped since an ill feted '97! Getting hitched in Aug so gotsta save a few quid. The van is just too expensive this year.

Ive read many times its where all the madness is at, is it the lands of the crazy cause thats where i want to be!!!!!

been going since 81 and have camped pretty well every where, last few times have been in holts.

get there early and camp at the back to the left (standing with the market behind you)

the old railway track is like a main artirial leading to the green fields one way and other stage the oppisite.

close also to the jazz stage and the glade.

it does not flood or gets muddy.

I'm gonna add my name to the newbies on this thread and ask another question I'm afraid, are the fields on the outter section: hinching hill, the 1 behind the park stage etc, the best options if you have people in your groupl whom like their peace and quiet?

And I'm guessing it's a good idea to avoid the pylon line areas like the plague if you're looking for a quiet night as I bet those crackle like mad when it rains?
