I haven't seen the "Protest Naked" guy for a few years.

In 2000 I saw a woman running naked round the Jazz World field on the Wednesday or Thursday. She popped up on stage with the Happy Mondays later in the week too!

Last year I was sat down outside the Avalon tent listening to the Proclaimers when a naked guy came and stood right in front of me, so his arse was level with my face. Not pleasant!

I'm not against the idea, but having been stuck behind the two naked guys during the Brian Jonestown Massacre last year... well, it was an experience...

Erhm, just before there are too many references to or discussions of the lady and her 'solo performance' ... I can't remember whether it was 2003 or not but I think it was so if that was actually by the Bandstand in the market area kinda between the Pyramid and Other stages, then the lady concerned was, shall we say, not exactly on the same or even a similar planet as most other peeps were at the time unfortunately I seem to remember from reports on here some time after the festi that she apparently had some serious mental health issues and was ultimately taken away for her own protection and to receive the help she needed. It wasn't a case of just having a l'il fun or being too drunk to know/care what she was doing or whatever, she really needed professional help so probably best not discussed any further and definitely best not joked about if this is the same lady

now that i think about it, i'd actually be seriously tempted if there were a crowd of us doing it. like walking en masse somewhere. and i am a woman who cannot stand her body. i'd not be stood still watching bands though, naked wandering only.

Don't be too hard on yourself, even the girls in magazines don't look like the girls in magazines without airbrushing, controlled lighting, hours with stylists etc.

It would be good if they had a Naturist Camping field!

If you want to go naked, then get yourself up to Sam's Sauna or the Tipi Spa Sauna! Go naked in the sauna of course(silly to wear swimwear in a sauna anyway), and sunbath nude on the lawn too where a lot of others will be doing the same! So you'll feel much more comfortable than going nude in an environment where loads of others are wearing clothes. So go on, give it a try this year!

I was thinking about it earlier, and maybe a mission such as stone circle to brothers bar / cider bus or something like that?

I did think last night that stone circle at night would be good, as it'll be fairly dark. Then I remembered that last time I was there at night I was freezing my nads off with a big coat and wooly jumper ;-) I think a lot will be weather dependant.

I think if there are at least half a dozen people up for it then I'm in!

If you want some nekkidness, get thee to the sauna/cafe in the tipi field, all kinds of skin on show in there!

Could be a plan! Starting in an all-nude environment before braving more public areas might be a good way to do it. Though I sort of thought going from stone circle and ending up at sauna/shower would be a good way to clean up as our feet will probably be a bit mucky by then.

I think camera phones are partly to blame for killing off nudity at festivals - i love the thought of getting naked at glasto but if i saw someone zooming in on my crumpet arse it'd spoil it for me

Maybe Sunday's the best time to do it as most people are out of battery by then...
