Called up a couple of times just then, and had no issue getting tickets, but they didn't like the credit card. It is a gold mastercard, and should be fine, but the lady said you must use a debit card to get the tickets. What's the go with that?

I ended up with a duplicate ticket in Sunday's sale. Called the helpline and they said that they are trawling through the duplicates and all will be sorted in up to 7 days. My money was recredited on Thursday which must have meant that ticket went back on sale on Thursday. I assume that this process is quite labourious as the re-credit has to be typed in, verified and authoirsed, etc - and with the long weekend it may still be going on. Fingers crossed for those still looking.....

Good luck.

it seems that the operators actually have to go through the booking process to check availability.

certainly when i struck gold the lass had a surprised tone in her voice when it went through and then continued and took my card details.

i can imagine if they're getting these calls all day and there's less than a 50/50 chance of a transaction going through then it's probably easiest to say "sold out" or "ring back" so it's someone elses problem.

keep trying - good luck, but there's obviously is going to be less and less as time goes on :D

my mate has been trying to get his ticket for the last few days, he rang today and explained he had rang before and that he had been told about cancelled tickets ect... and aparently he was given a reference number and told to call tomorrow and give that number and they will sell him a ticket, i have not heard anything like this before, has anyone been told this? if so is it true? or do you think it was just a way to get him off the phone? he will try again tomorrow regardless but just wondering if this is a light at the end of the tunnel for him?

edit - spelling mistake
