The indoor cinema has moved.

I am trying to find out the status of the outdoor cinema, but what is certain is that it won't be in the previous spot.

:( gutted the cinema has been moved to practilly the other side of the site!

I camped in the wicket ground last year and the cinema area was close by so could watch a film at end of night and not have to walk miles back to tent.

don't think i'll be at the cinema area much now :)

I'll be quite gutted if the ciname field has gone. A lot of folk say to me that there are surely better things to be doing at glastonbury than sitting watching a cinema and I do agree completely but, like a lot of you guys say, it was a nice chill out area and Ghostbusters / The Goonies were great over the last couple of years. Shame.

I'm having trouble reading the map in relation to the local area and don't have GoogleEarth at work, so cant check out GlastoEarth. Could anyone please identify for me the pedestrian entrance point to the site? We'll be walking to the site from a campsite 3 miles away ( unless we find a soul kind enough to give us a lift) and I'm unsure if we're meant to walk in through the bus drop-off gates or where.

Also what do the letters and numbers not explained in the key stand for on the map?

Questions, questions, questions...

"The Stone Circle is egg shaped to mirror the Signus star constellation. The stone at the tip signifies the swans neck and is pointed to the midsummer sunrise. Under each stone are significant items that represent the direction of which each faces. There are crystals from Stonehenge, water from the Ganges, stone from the Pyramids, healing herb and many, many other items of mystical and religious significance. While only completed in 1990 the Stone Circle feels as though it’s been there forever."

Ha ha. Love it... word has been added to general venacular.

Slightly off topic, but what kind of time would we need to be there to get a good central spot. 3 1st timers going so would like to be right in amongst it... Kidney Mead or Row Mead etc.

Leaving from a house near Heathrow on the Wed morning by car... any idea of times would be appreciated as a guide for us.

Think the word originated on the boards roundabout ticket time 2007, use it constantly now!

I'm a Kidney Mead man myself, last year we went by car via London (from Paisley) and passed by Heathrow around 5.00am. Got to Shepton Mallet where we were meeting the others for about 7am. Took a while to get in but we were at our pitch for around 11am ish I think and there was a decent amount of space available. Usually begins to look full towards late wednesday afternoon.
