ramragon
i also remember going last year with intentions of parking in a certain car park and camping in a certain field, the traffic was madness and we decided to say sod it, we'll just park and camp where we end up. just happened to be the other side to where we'd originally planned but had a great time anyway

glastoman417
I took the National Express past 3 years (from London twice and Liverpool once) was ok, but in 2007 after darting away after the Chemical Brothers to catch a 00.30 coach, I stood in the pouring rain until about 4am for it to finally turn up, then it turned out the heating on the bus was bust! Still, these things happen. Main problem I have with the coach coming from Liverpool is that it doesn't arrive until early evening on the Wednesday, that's a missed afternoon of Glastonbury goodness in my book! This year I'm taking the train down to Bath on the Tuesday, staying overnight in the Travellodge (never been to Bath so will have a wander and see if I can meet some other festie goers in the evening) so that I can get an early start to Bristol on the Wednesday morning and take the shuttle bus. Including the travellodge, it's only cost me something like £20 more than taking the coach, or less if I can find someone who wants to share (it's a family sized room).
