Home Ground Camping/Map Query

[Yokel Again]

Yo People!

Our 'crew' have camped on Home Ground, just behind the hedgerow for the last 6 Glastos (200-2007), except last year, where we had other commitments, and didn't go to the festival (BOO!)... On getting NME the week after Glasto it looks like Home Grounds camping area is now taken over by crew/vans or something. However on the 2008 and this years 2009 map (as posted somewhere else) the area clearly shows it as a camping area still.

Can anyone advise if it was shut at the last minute for any reason last year? Will it be open for camping this year (the map suggests so, but it did for last year also?

Will be gutted if we rock up there on Weds morning and can't get our normal spot!!!

I don't have my maps to hand, but I think it was converted to crew last year?

I'm fairly sure Home Ground (up by the farmhouse) was converted into Production use last year.

Cheers people. Will have to find another spot. Any suggestions somewhere quiet? Used to love it as a cracking view, quiet, no-one walked through, and right close to the flushing loos's (where are the flushing loos now?)

Last year the flushing loos turned 90 degrees and came out of the cow yard area and onto the path that leads up towards the Nat West bank. Not nearly as good a spot as in their old location in 2007 where I was able to watch The Who while doing a poo.
