Sam Crawley
Jeeez give us some new rumours!!!!
Mr Ploppy
Nice one Sam, A title that will give people the opportunity to look at the post with the view to commenting that you should 'read previous posts'... But alas... you fooled them... as your real intention was to express your frustration at the lack of new 'rumours' which in itself is an equally pointless post. The 'rumours' are just 'rumours' and so what you should have used in the narrative of you stealth post was the question 'why no recent confirmations'. That would have been a much better questions but equally as pointless as the 'arena' and 'rumours' comments. So... it seems you have done something extra-ordinary here Sam, you have issued a pointless title with a completely different subject matter than the title sugests which is also as pointless anyway. Bravo! Just messin' with ya Sam, no harm intended - although I am right in what I say ;-) And just to make up for it... here is a rumour for you - The Beatles Reloaded, starring Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Dhani Harrison and Julian Lennon - beat that for a rumour!!!! Sorry, just in a sarcastic mood. Night. MrPloppy

MEGABOWL
As for rumours ... There will allegedly be no drinking, smoking, singing, dancing, any form of behaviour that comes anywhere remotely close to indicating 'punters enjoying themselves', eating, pink elephants, tables, tents, chairs, umbrellas, pixies, gazebos or bl**dy flags in the Arena. This is apparently so as to comply with the recent EU "Enjoying yourself and/or doing what you want to do regardless of what everyone else wants to do is not politically correct enough and clearly demonstrates way too much of a desire for freedom of choice so is therefore banned as of right now" Directive
rosstopher
Ah, 'tis true but then again, whilst just about all previous posts/threads will have had you believe that there is no arena and all that at Glasto ... this is most definitely not the case this year of course Glasto 2009 apparently features a shiny new Arena So there you have it. It's now official and all that. Glasto 2009 now with shiny new Arena ! What is the world coming to ? And more to the point, just how silly do all those "not another arena stylee thread, why don't you use the search and read any one of the 'n' thousand other arena stylee threads before posting a new one" peeps feel now Clicky For Linky to play the Glasto 2009 spot the Arena game As for rumours ... Pinhead
The "Avon and Somerset" Glastonbury monorail has been extended to link up with Castle Cary station in an attempt to bring a more integrated transport solution to the festival. rosstopher
Since this year. The perimeter of it starts just south of Bristol. You have to stop your car and have your hand stamped before entering. The whole of Somerset is now counted as the Arena of Avalon during the Festival.. Mr Ploppy
Does that mean everyone has to buy us copious amounts of cider? I feel that my guru powers might be powered by cider, pear of course.
Sam Crawley
I have just come back from the library as I was doing some research about Gurus and yes - it DOES seem we need copious amounts of cider. But the ancient scrolls do say that the cider has to be bought by somebody else otherwise it does not qualify as a 'guru cider' drink. I think we are gonna have a great Glasto Em.
