Yeah I saw that the other day the Mustaine statement... and immediately thought Sonisphere... but then again a lot of people on the Megadeth and Metallica forums have suggested that Megadeth may open for Metallica in the US later this year.

Or that it could be Megadeth touring with Slayer.

As far as Sonisphere's big announcement is confirmed, I am hoping for Jane's Addiction, Megadeth, Alter Bridge and The Offspring.

I'll keep dreaming.

Bit random but is it just me worrying next year could be quite bad for sonisphere? They've used up most of the semi large metal acts this year, obviously than can get 2 big headliners next year. AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Muse maybe even RATM. But most the middlecard options have been used up, could leave them in a pickle and with download using alot aswell reading could be quite heavy next year?
