Anyone else pleased that the nme headliners are turdburgler

I know its nice to have a choice but this is the first year where I've wanted to watch all three headliners, yeah I would've like to see the cure or weezer but not if they were gonna be on at the same time as radiohead, I jumped for joy when lost prophets were announced, gossip arctic monkers, no contest. Wouldn't mind kings of leon but if weezer end up there then the organisers have got it spot on for me, will be the first time without major clashes.

thats my point, i know the headliners aren't to everyones taste but for me its a relief to know that i can watch the mainstage headliners without that awful feeling in my gut knowing that I'm missing something great at the nme stage. Agreed though, pisspoor headliners, totally shocked by gossip, weren't they about eighth on mainstage two years ago?

I tentd to agree with moz, ill also be watching the mainstage headliner performances.. I think the acts performing are great this year.. not so sure about the NME headliners though.. I think The Gossip and Jamie T are kind of 'one hit wonders' anyone agree? I honistly don't think they have earned the right to headline a stage at such a festival! The only reason why Beth Ditto is in that position is because shes fat! and creates media attension by striping off and putting her thumb up her ass! (anyone remember last year?) !

Back to the topic !! I won't be watching anyof the NME headliners and at this rate will hardly be in the tent full stop unlike last year when Justice/Seasick Steve and Manic were my highlights on the sunday..

yeah they are rubbish so far.

the gossip are meh. the song that has been on all that E4 shit like skins has been ragged to pieces.

lost prophets used to be good but now they are a teeny metal crap band.

i will be mainly main staging it this year by the looks of things....i only saw about 6 bands on the main stage the whole of last year.........if =w= headline though there could be a bit of a dilemma!

like people have said jamie t is not headlining the nme stage. full stop.
