well he's done it before. It being glastonbury wont matter one jot to him, and while I admire him for that, I am not going to risk missing the doves set (which is a certainty to be brilliant) for a NY set that has a high probability of not being full of the stuff I like.

Neil Young has his long awaited 'Archives' box set released on 2nd June, and I'd wager thats a bigger deal, for him and his fans, than his recent (slightly rubbish) concept album. I'd put pretty damn good money on him playing a stonking greatest hits set, with maybe one or two at most from his recent album. But when you have as big and as varied a back catalogue as Ol' Shakey then anything could happen - thats the fun of it.

I'm a hugely massive Doves fan, and they will be special in the JP tent (if you can get in that is), but it is Neil Young all day for me. If it was anyone else I'd be at the front for Doves.

Gutted to hear it looks like they'll be a nightmare 3 way clash with Ray Davies too. Maybe if I run really fast I can catch a bit of all 3... :)

the worst bit is that friday headliners could look something like this

pyramid - neil young

other - bloc party

jp - doves

jazzworld - bb king or spearhead

park - fleet foxes

acoustic - ray davies

thats just me putting 2+2 and getting 5 but thats clash hell for me and diverse as glasto's ever been and not knowing whats on in the dance village

doves win, but id see all of that lot if possible (maybe not BP - would depend on clashes :) )

i hate that people were complaining about the 'line-up' and its lack of quality ( even though its not even out ) as it seems im already getting massively unfair clashes :)

this year is going to be very hard to pick where to be. a double edged sword of going to the greatest festival in the world! :P:)
