Song of the weekend

Creep is a good crowd song, the point is that Thom Yorke hates playing the song. Not only that, they have hundreds of better songs. EG. Every song from KID A, amnesic, OK Computer :) Apprantly he was forced to play Creep at V as it was part of the contract. I really don't want to here creep at Reading!

For me at the moment -

Prodigy - Firestarter

Arctic Monkeys - Bet You look Good On The Dance Floor

Lostprophets - Burn Burn/Shinobi

Kaiser Chiefs - I Predict A Riot

Hopefully -

The Offspring - Want You Bad (actually anything by them)

Sum 41 - Fat Lip

(just realised what a teeny I sound like listing those bands - oh well)

I agree, I do not want to hear Radiohead play Creep at Reading because they have so many better songs to play, and so many other songs they would put their heart and soul into over this song. If the contract thing with Creep was true at V, I doubt Festival Republic will ask this of them. I hope they play one or two new songs, and a similiar set list to the 25th Victoria Park gig.

Aside from that, I would love to hear:

Radiohead: Sit Down Stand Up/Where I End and You Begin/Pyramid Song/ You and Whose Army/Talk Show Host/Kid A!

Bloc Party: She's Hearing Voices/ I Still Remember

Yeah Yeah Yeahs: Heads Will Roll/Y Control/Rockers To Swallow/Maps/Gold Lion/Hysteric/Skeletons

Placebo: Every You Every Me/Pure Morning/36 Degrees/Infra- Red
