Gonna try and get tickets to the ICA show but it's only 350 capacity apparently.

was just thinking about these guys the other day but i checked out the tour dates and i dont think they will be at glasto, not impossible but highly unlikey

never had the chance to see them, would love to at some point though

Saw them last year at Latitude. Personally thought they were very dull and repetitive...their songs were just too long.

Unfortunately the only other choice at the time was Sigur Ros. Not the finest Saturday evening of a festival ever!

Do you like them?

I was intrigued, so I went to go and see them. But found them dull, sorry! Musically they were quite good and I have great respect for them. I had a wonderful conversation in broken English with (I think) the bassist afterwards, but their music just did nothign for me. Plus it was cold!

having the volta clash with sigur ros was one of the hardest clashes ive had to face for years

completly different bands but both technically amazing and both brilliant live

i went for sigur ros at the time but could have easily gone the other way

its just i havent seen anybody that wasnt torn in 2 by that clash and to meet someone underwhelmed by both is a 1st

At The Drive-In were a serious little band. The Volta are a pale imitation of that classic outfit.

Can you imagine hearing "Enfilade" at Glastonbury?
