alemart
Thought MGMT were playing again this year but just looked at A-Z of rumours and they seem to have dissappeared possibly along with The White Stripes and Fleetwood Mac?? Starting to worry! Know it will still be a great festival but was really looking forwards to seeing these bands!!?

joelovesleeds!
I hope MGMT are playing too, does anyone know what happened to them?
pedmills
It said somewhere they were playing only 2 festivals this year and I'm pretty sure they've already been confirmed for two festivals. So unless its some kind of secret set or the info is bull, then they aren't going to be playing Glastonbury.

joelovesleeds!
Apparently they got locked in a cupboard but nobody could hear their cries for held! Poor sods staved to death in the end. Terrible really.
Kowalski
Unless MGMT have learned to play live since last year, you aren't missing anything. I thought the album was great but live they seemed to lack a pair!

idontgetoutmuch
sadly I missed them too! I'd even sent friends copies of their cd, so that when I did the 'you really must come and see..........then they'd know who I was on about. Friends who saw them on JP said it not brilliant set tbh. Think their 'Time to Pretend' and 'Kids' particularly the Soulwax remix of Kids really punctuated last Summers festivals for me. I've just been listening to 'The Big Pink - Velvet' and think that they will be doing the same for this summer :-) I couldn't sleep last night and caught them on Annie Nightengale, then this morning found an article about them in The guardian Guide, seems it's all meant to be. Alcatraz
Didn't they play more than once last year? This may be the reason why they're not at least rumored to play in
