whizzo
Seems to be a little warm but a fair amount of rain and a bit of wind http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/event_...asp?eventID=

fraz
Dont trust anything until the week of the fesitval. All you going to do is get excited that it will be good then down about the fact it will rain and confused by the fact it is going to snow!!!! No one can predict natures weather choices that far ahead.
scappaflow
Really is a bit silly having that published on their website. However... I'm sure a few weeks ago some figures were up at 81million mm of rain, so that's a step in the right direction.
glastoman417
In 2005 a couple of days before the festival the weather people (BBC iirc) predicted good weather aside from light showers on the Saturday morning. If they can't predict biblical proportion floods a couple of days before, then I doubt they can be anywhere close to accurate so far ahead! joshwarrr
there is already a thread on this, but it is still quite amusing. However with everyday that passes and it stays the same it become slightly less amusing. Imagine if it was a day before and still the same

r0cky
I think Metcheck have taken down their long range event forecasts? Those pages are just old links that are not containing valid data? However, they are saying this The Year Ahead: 18 Jun - 27 Jun The third and final wave of the 'European Summer Monsoon' brings more wet and windy weather to the UK with further heavy showers. scappaflow
Really does it make a difference? You are going to go prepared for a bit of rain even if they forecast a week of sun the morning you were leaving to go. No doubt over 5 days there will be a bit of rain... just hope it's not too serious and the ground does not become impossible.

whizzo
Damn Sorry about the repost guys I did have a look but didnt find anything. I did have a chuckle at people taking it seriously though! 75 K of rain 1300 degree heat and 822 mph winds would certainly make it interesting! Aragorn
lol, I am abit of a weather geek and in all honesty metcheck and the bbc are some of the most inaccurate sites around even within forecasting for 3 days in advance you won't get any half decent attempts at forecasting until the start of june when patterns and trends can be judged
greg1999
don't know about you lot, but i fancy the challenge of putting my tent up in 822mph winds.

Funkfarley
That's just a typical day's rainfall in sunny Greenock though!
joshwarrr
Or even Glasto 2005. I swear it was about that much rain!
