Will Pigeon Detectives play Rockness

Does anyone know if the Pigeons will play Rockness?

There gigs are just amazing and so full of energy...

I see they're playing Isle of Wight Festival and the two lineups look fairly similar!

It would make the lineup just perfect if they were playing!

have you ever actually seen them? they are one of the msot energetic live bands and they would definately make this one of the festivals of the Summer if they played!

Yes and they were rather pathetic in my opinion. Energetic yes, but most bands are.

We do not need another generic indie band. Take the singers voice away and it could be any one of several bands. They may be energetic but most acts are, doesn't take from their lack of individuality. A lot of people would be happy to see them there but it would be a step in wrong direction in my view, I like Rockness's unconventionality(Flaming Lips, Super Furry Animals etc). Maybe not everybody's taste but most certainly a lot more creative.

It is already one of the festivals of summer, take your sky rats and leave them in Central Station

well its obvious you dont like the Pigeons and you seemed to get quite defensive...

lol there is nothing to dislike about them per say, just nothing that makes them stand above the platoons of other indie bands. Like I said I'm sure a lot of people, yourself included, would be happy with them being there. I just don't think Rockness should go down that route or it will just become a small T in the Park. To survive and thrive it needs a unique feel and image. Generic indie bands don't help that one bit.

By energetic u mean the singer prancing all over the stage like a twat too knakerd to actualy sing. I count Chris Martin & the singer from Kiaser Chiefs in this as well.

I like the pigeons and really enjoyed their set last year at T but i agree with BenchBuddah, think they should leave them as a T band!
