How good is the dance village going to be this year!

Glastonbury's Dance Village is set to go 3D this year, with organisers announcing plans for this year's event.

The arena will feature the Novak 3D Disco, which combines cutting edge club music with 3D visuals that are set to come out of the screens, as well as the Glastonbury 3D Disco which will meet the Silent Disco for a groundbreaking audio-visual experiment.

The Dance Village will also feature the Dance Lounge and Pussy Parlure which will have burlesque and comedic comedy as well as great music over the weekend.

The East and West dance tents will return, featuring everything from disco to dubstep and booty bass to breaks, while the outdoor G-Stage will be back for 2009.

The line-up for the Dance Village is expected at the end of May.

Does anyone know how late the dance village will be open this year? The whole place seemed closed when I went there after 12 in 2007 So didn't bother going down there in 2008, just stayed around trash city, and the green fields for lots of randomness

think the main tents including the g stage close at 12 but pussy parlure, dance lounge and igloo go on till around 4am, the igloo was still pounding out the techno at 6am on the sunday lastyear.
