far more to them than scooby snacks

king of new york

barry white saved my life

the fun livin criminal

loco

up on the hill

smoke em

scooby snacks is a bit of a departure for them in fact. their main style is more of a new york gangster

lounge/stoner thing - if that makes any sense!!

in fact just get hold of 'bag of hits' its all you need really

Looks alot like speculation, and with Strictly Reading being the main source i'd question it. Could just be someone having a laugh at the expense of Rockgeek tbh. Would question the legitimacy of the site when they're posting rumours about the band, hardly the official thing to do lol.

lock up? you on smack?! they're about as lock up as kate nash!!!! have you ever seen/heard them?

they are very un-punk.

they have a few ok songs, they've been around for years though and i must have seen them about 5 times, will give them a miss i think!

FLC are associated with the punk scene (even if they don't have a punk sound).... their drummer Mackie was in the New York Hardcore Band The Cro-Mags and more recently was in Hazen Street who featured members of bands like Madball, H2O, New Found Glory and Box Car Racer!

They would be a cool lock up addition but it would be nicer seeing them on the main stage with a bit of sun shining :-)

FLC at Reading Festival 2009

Not 100% confirmation but i looks like the boys will be performing on the Radio 1 Lock up stage, best known for its punk and rock acts.

there a fair amount of info on this on the net already.

looks good to me.

the boys are apparently playing on the saturday night

Ice-T & Bodycount aren't punk but still played the Lock-Up. They were awesome:)

Ice-T, just like the FLC are associated with the punk scene which is certainly a 'passport' to play the Lock-Up.

...However, watching these on the mainstage in the afternoon in the sun with a brewski will be sweet.

Fun loving criminals are a fun festival band who dont take themsleves too seriously and what guy wouldnt want to be as cool as huey! Its hard to judge wher they would fit on the lock up. I wouldnt class them as big as jimmy eat world who have headlined or rancid who have been rumoured. However some people say rise against could healdine and flc have sold shitload more records than they have in this country. I would love to see them headline as non of the main stage or r1 headliners interest me at present.
