Do you have to pay deposit to go in/get the headphones? I know we found the silent disco last year but my friends said something about not having enough cash on them...!? Understandable if there is one but it's something I'll have to remember for this year.

silent disco is ace. I was a bit dubious when I 1st heard about it, but went to it last year on the thursday and had such a good laugh, loved the idea of 2 dj's and you can switch between them depending on what they are playing and what you want to listen to.

I know everyone wears headphones, but it takes away the whole room being awash with sound, it's very insular. I can wear headphones at home.

And like the above poster says, you can switch DJ's so you are not sure who is listening to what.

I can't see the point, it so doesn't appeal to me.

3D though - great!

problem with 3-d glasses is i dont get the full effect, because i wear glasses myself, i need to po the 3-d ones on first then my ones over the top, i kind of get an ok experience but its not quite right, the only soloution is to have the massive lorry driver style ones that covers the sides of my vision aswell. which is a shame because its a pretty cool idea

I'm not a fan of silent discos, when I'm at festivals and gigs I like to 'feel' the music. A silent disco doesn't give me that. It is good though because of the noise levels, will keep many a person happy

please remember these silent discos are by no means the only chance to dance after midnight. there are loads of places with loud PAs. A particular favorite last year was the Bassline circus. A huge tent with thumping tech house and break beat all weekend, in shargri la. Please bring back...
