frankie boy
I no some of us are still geting over the whole fiasco of geting tickets or not geting tickets as the case may be. A few mates and I got our tickets and the next day another friends said she wants to go and found a website called www.excitetickets.com and we thought it didnt sound right and after a bit more reasearch other forums on google have claimed it to be a scam or at least avoided. Was woundering if anyone has ever heard or had dealings with them and if she is going to get scamed or get fake tickets. Tried to get on the website before to get a link but couldnt find it maybe that answers my question! help would be hugely appriciated
tomisnothere
in some cases, people get tickets. but these people are in a vast minority. tell your friend to contact the bank and see if she can get her money back. in the eventuality that she does get tickets, it's likely that she would be kept hanging until the week before the festival, at which point it's possible that nothing will be delivered. the only 100% safe way to buy is from legal outputs. seetickets releases batches leading up to the festival. if you keep checking here, you'll find out when these batches are released. the other option which can be hit-or-miss is ebay. find a seller with a 100% positive feedback and plenty of sales and you're quite likely to get your tickets. just be careful though. scottt
According to some one on one of the official forums, i remember reading that they didnt have some form of license or something, so it looked like a bit of a scam. Obviously this doesnt neccesarily mean it will be a scam, but she probably shouldn't have bought it from there.
tomisnothere
as far as i'm aware, this site wasn't listed at any point on the official websites. so i'd say it's a scam.

scottt
The way this is wrote is basically wrong. "Getting fans like you tickets to sold out events has been our specialty since several years" Just sounds wrong. Bad grammar and all that usually suggests scam. Or maybe im just being an idiot and it makes perfect sense. No, its deffinately not just me. "This is the great chance for the fans and viewers of Bruce Springsteen to show him live in their favarourites places. " Shes been scammed

When she went back on there the first thing she said was 'No its definatley real it says its 100% real on there so it must be' Made me chuckle

benissright
Best bet is wait til the end of may, go on ebay, find someone who is a very trusted seller of tickets and has done it for a few years, then buy one off them on a credit card and use paypal. If they do f**k you over, you can at least get your money back And its more likely to work than viagogo, where if anyone has any sense, and needs £500 quickly, they'll sell tickets on there and pay it back in august, with no interest.
