The Jesus Lizard?

Noticed that The Jesus Lizard are playing Pukkelpop Festival the week before R/L. had a look and looks like they last played in 1994!! How about a return after 15 years? Maybe high up on the 3rd stage, just a thought anyway...

Will be rocking out to both thier sets at ATP in a couple of weeks! awesome band and would be an excellent edition to the festival.

Though can't see R/L booking them. After bands like Dinosaur Jr and The Fall getting such poor responses I don't see them going for it.

What I've heard of them is alright.

Weren't people also throwing Mudhoney's name around earlier this week? Is there some sort of grunge revival going on? Cos that would be super. Pearl Jam and Soundgarden for 2010 headliners!

They do if the most popular genre in the country is suddenly grunge... think about it, how many Nirvana covers were there last year?!.... this theories got something to it, a full on revival is imminant, the ressurrection of Cobain is nigh!

Why do people seem to think that Dinosaur Jr got a poor response. Their 2007 set was amazing! A decent sized crowd and everyone down the front was well up for it. I'd love to see The Fall return though and headline the Festival Republic stage. Would be brilliant.

As for the Jesus Lizard, I'd be extremely shocked if they were booked! Shocked in a good way mind.

The crowd was a decent size and those there loved it. But it was still a much smaller audience then then the bands before and after them.

But Pigeon Detectives and The Twang are hype bands so what do you expect.

Nirvana are rumored for 2010 headliner, Shaun Morgan of seether is filling in for kurt who cant play for medical reasons.
