Teepee Tents

I've been looking for a tent for myself and 3 others this year, and managed to stumble across the Eurohike Psychedelic Teepee tent.

Seems perfect for me, higher than a normal tent (im fairly tall), so should be more visible.

But is there any problems with the design of the teepee, area inside, water collecting, hard to put up etc?

Drainage- good, probably better than any other tent

Area inside- so-so, depends how big it is obviously, but if it's advertised as a 4 man tent I imagine it'll be quite generous compared to other 4 man tents.

The main drawbacks will be the weight and size of the thing when it's packed up compared to other similarly sized tents, and the fact that theives are more likely to target distinctive tents, as it gives them the impression that you have money.

Just be careful you don't come back drunk (doubt that will happen) get on your sleeping bag and in the morning kick out in a stupor and knock the only supporting pole out.

Now I am not saying I have done this but that is my sole reason for never buying one.

The truth is I just don't trust a tent with a pole in the middle to be up to the job.

Real tipis dont have central poles. That millets thing is just a conical tent.

Loads of room, porch for any wet moments that should occur and quite light to carry as well......
