I saw them on Jools, and it was the first time ever I heard a Sonic Youth song (i think). I liked all three that they performed. Can anyone recommend one of their best albums as an introduction? Maybe a few?

Sonic Youth have made a half-dozen classics.

"Daydream Nation" is the most celebrated, but like Ivan, I think "Sister" is really superb.

"EVOL" is prolly my favourite though.
