Jet played on '07 and were pretty good as I recall.

I think it's just a case of how/when they announce, ignoring the leak

Human League

Proclaimers

Natalie Imbruglia

Starsailor

Athlete

Jet

Is pretty good I think, V need to get someone in to spin for them. They HAVE got t decent line-up but they've announced it badly, in the wrong order and pissed people off in the process.

Three announcements was needed, big credible bands first, second tier but cool second, small acts third then chuck most of the pop pap in on the end of the final one, also appearing are blah blah blah.

DONE!

Starsailor, and Athlete are amongst the latest additions added to the line-ups for this year's twin V Festivals.

Starsailor

New additions to the bill also include Jet, The Human League, Lemar, Will Young, Noisettes, The Proclaimers, Natalie Imbruglia, Red Light Company, Mr Hudson, The King Blues, Tinchy Stryder, Daniel Merriweather, and Matt Trakker.

Announced for The Arena stage are 2manydjs, and Calvin Harris.

Festival Director, Bob Angus comments: "We're very happy with the new acts signed up for this year's event. V always endeavours to cater for all musical tastes but this year fans are truly in for it with bands old and new entertaining music aficionados and festival debutantes alike. Stay tuned for even more top acts to be confirmed in coming weeks."

Sorry u gotta laugh at what the festival director has said!!!

Anybody think that last line sounds like a threat!?!?! If I walked up to somebody at the bus stop and told them they were 'in for it' I'd get lamped!

Oohh...and on the official website they proudly say of Natalie Imbruglia ''double Brit award winning''...they don't mention that this was in 1999!!!

Well I quite like Natalie Imbruglia, so am quite happy to see her added to be honest. I agree that the lineup is pretty weak on the whole...but as has been mentioned, how many bands can you fit into the weekend anyway? 15-20? There's enough good in there to keep me going - Peter Doherty, MGMT, British Sea Power, Starsailor, Elbow, Ocean Colour Scene, Dizzee Rascal, Human League, Mystery Jets, Ladyhawke, Natalie Imbruglia etc.
