Kraftwerk are a band I feel I ought to love (given their pedigree) but I've never yet managed it!! Was this because Tour de France was the only album of theirs I bought? Was this the wrong way in for a "beginner"?!

All that I love Kraftwerk they would be Other Stage headliner contenders and I just don't think they would be suitable for it.

IIRC on the Bestival forums they said their only UK performances were Manchester and Bestival this year.

They are one of the reasons for me getting Bestival tickets as my post-glasto comedown festival!

Press releases are marketing, all marketing is bullshit, and all marketeers are bullshitters.

Which means that they'll say whatever is convenient to help them achieve their own aims - in this case, selling Bestival tickets.

(Just so it's clear, I have no idea if what Bestival said is factually incorrect or not. My comment is general comment about the dark 'art' of marketing - better known as bullshit - and not specific to Bestival or any other fest).
