couldnt see much of them last year being parked well outside the queens on thursday night. look forward to catching them on a bigger stage

seen them twice, 1st time they walked off the stage after getting angry at the crowd, when supporting wombats

then second time they went on after friendly fires and just couldnt live up their set. big dissappointment for me i afraid.

According to their Myspace website, they are second headliners for the Other Stage on Sunday!! Hmmm....my first thoughts are that is too high a slot for them and hopefully not indicative of the size and draw of the rest of the bands booked for that stage...

Love there album but I was hopin that they would be playin one of the smaller stages or even the Queens Head again. I hope there sound doesn't get lost on the other stage. Can't see them playin 2nd from the top that would be way to high

I saw them quite a few times last year. Covered them for sandman at the Faversham Leeds for Sandman back in Feb 2008 when they were uknowns, they were awesome all red lights and moodyness. Caught them again at glasto and a very good set on the November tour. I took my gf and daughter to the NME tour and what a let down, they had slown down all the numbers he had took to wearing some bizarre poncho type thing and half way through the place was empty. I sort of fell out with them then!

I think Glasvegas album is alright, if a little samey, but they really can't play live. Too strong accents to understand lyrics or even the talking between songs. Music that isn't danceable or singalongable (arguably the two most important aspects of live rock music). And very little charisma or interaction. They can be decent visually if in darkness and with good lights. But this will be a sunset slot....

Avoid at all costs. They will be a pile of shit. The only way they will possibly be good is if the sound is very clear, the lights are good, it gets dark quickly and they decide to stop being gloomy and actually put some effort it.

I watched them at my uni. As well as being really boring, they stormed off when one of their guitar pedals broke and didn't come back for 20 mins.

any band worth their salt would have killed to have written daddys gone or flowers and football taps and in my opinion where the only band to emerge last year i cared about. James Allan is cool and i will certainly be watching them again.

I like that "it's my own cheating heart" song but I find it really, really difficult to look beyond what a massive, massive tit that frontman is.
