WHAT! NO JAZZ LOUNGE.

Someone telle me its not true. My mate has just told me they have killed the Jazz Lounge – did’nt make enough money on the bar!!!!! (bloody capitalism). The Jazz Lounge stage was brilliant if a bit small, the music was amazing, Blues, Jazz until the early hours. It was heaving in there last year, word was they would be getting a bigger tent not shutting the bugger down. I am so disappointed, you really struggle to find live music after 11.00pm because of the noise policy this was a great venue and will be sadly missed.. RIP

If you don't include DJ sets and the piped music in the bars the other main area is

Los Vagueness (or whatever its called now). It gets so packed and after 9.00pm is

usually one in one out.

I love the Jazz World Stage - looking a bit quite at the moment, hope they have got a few belters lined up for the weekend. Jimmy Lee Vaughan would be cracking.

Jazz Lounge was rather epic The only thing left in that area is the Queens Head which is DULL.

Despite liking Jazz I didn't make it to the Lounge last year - did spend a lot of time at Jazz World though. Don't worry though peeps, the fest is always evolving and I'm sure other equivalent venues will step in to take up the mantle. Perhaps a Jazzy venue in Shangri-La..

I'm really disappointed about this. The Jazz Lounge has been great over the last few years. Loved sitting in there, getting a smoke and listening to great music late at night. This is a big loss.
