Some of these might have played:

Led Zep

Portishead

Lemon Jelly

Alexis Blue

The Mono LPs

The Smyths (Smiths tribute, I'd have loved to see The Smiths in their heyday, but now I don't think the atmosphere would be right if they reformed, a good tribute act is probably as good as we'll get).

The Wedding Present

Daft Punk

Red Hot Chilli Peppers

Stevie Wonder

BB King (fingers crossed)

The Stars of Heaven

The Cure

Durutti Column

The Fall

Jeggsy Dodd

Half Man Half Biscuit

Herbaliser

Bit of a mixture!

Cool! It took me ages to see them play, when I moved to the area I put on a night at Roadkill (what a great venue that was!) and I booked them to headline via Myspace, but at the last minute the Academy rescheduled one of their gigs and they had to pull out.

Then I went to see them at the academy, they were meant to headline so didn't get there too early, then it turned out there were label people in to see Rebecca so they got to headline and AB had been on first.

Next they were meant to play Vale Park (great place for bands on a nice day) but it was cancelled for rain!

I finally saw them at The Wirral Show last year and they were brilliant! Started off good and got better and better, would love to see them at Glasto!

Last year I saw Andeh and his brother at the bus station going down, then I saw them again in the leftfield for the Liverpool 08 thing, then they were sitting across from me on the bus back!

Say hello to them for me on Saturday, they probably know me better as John from Keep your ears Peeled.

If you get a chance check out The Mono LPs (from Liverpool) they did play my night and everyone (including the 79 year old from across the road who insisted on coming despite warnings it might not be her cup of tea) loved them. myspace.com/themonolps

I think it's about time Mr Eavis put on some collaborations. How about the following:

Michael Jackson, Gary Glitter and The St Winifreds School Choir

Oasis and Jay Z - but how would you decide who was best? There's only one way...

"The Morrisons" (Jim and James)

Grace Jones and Lady GaGa - "The Hemaphrodites"

any more?
