Anyone heard the new gallows album? its streaming on myspace.

i persoanlly think its brilliant, never been a huge fan of thiers, but its the best punk/hardcore album ive heard in ages. full of energy and anger, and its quite original, they seemed to have niched thier own sound.

At the end of the song Misery, the sound of a pig being slaughtered is pretty horrific though :|

They're certainly one of the better punk bands around at the moment, I haven't heard the new album yet but what I have heard sounds good. I've heard about the pig noise, sounds intresting.

the new stuff sounds stupidly good live, saw them a few times at sxsw playing pretty much just playing 'grey britain' and were insanely good. 'black eyes' is brilliant live.

I'm really enjoying this album, its really dark and full of misery, I am really glad that NME have only give it 6 out of 10, misery loves me and I love her too!

I am really looking forward to seeing them next week for the 6th time though nothing will ever compare to the first time I saw them early 2007 at the Manchester Roadhouse with around 50 other people. It was one of the most electric atmosphere gigs I have ever attended in my 20 years of gig going.

Was anyone else in the wall of death or the pits at Leeds? I really enjoyed myself after spending the whole set in the decent size one at the front all the way through the set although I was a bit black and blue on the Sunday.
