interesting. i wondered why EVERYWHERE had gone gaymers this year

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8022480.stm

there is a telling moment in that interview

"Mr Spencer says while Gaymers had "done well" last year, there were plenty of lessons to learn.

At Glastonbury, for example, branding on the hundreds of thousands of paper cups used in the bars did not stand out amid that of a rival drink. "

i wonder what other brand they can be refering to..........?

they may come, but they will never conquer!!!

I took a friend for his first festival last year, and told him cider played a major part.

I'm never, ever gonne forget him buying a gaymers at the pyramid stage, taking a gulp, turning to look at me, with his face contourting, exclaiming 'dude, thats some real cider - just what I would imagine a real old mans heavy cider to be'.

I was confused, look at his cup and it was a deep colour with these strange thin strips floating in it... and it smelt real bad.... bless him. It was an old barrel that had gone off.
