Wirral / Liverpool Pre-Glasto Meetup?

I've noticed there are quite a few other folks on the forum from Liverpool and Wirral so thinking of organising a pre-glasto meet up maybe a week or two before? (Unless someone is already organising something).

I'd suggest the new Tallulahs Late Lounge in New Brighton. Huge place, unusual decor (in a good way) lush sofas, view of the mersey, hedonistic but good natured crowd (RJs for grown ups as many are calling it) open until 3am. No real ales, but there is one we can go on to that does lock-ins Food is really good.

I think it would be the perfect place to get us in the pre-glasto mood, (though I am biased as I can walk home from there!)

(Appologies to the rest of the country who have probably no interest in this thread

We did this last year at the Africa Oye free festival in Sefton Park l'pool, was fookin great i made a shitload of "cake" and only 3 of us actually turned up and braved the biblical storm so that was me mashed to a pulp <_<

So i Suggest the meet could be the same again Saturday 20th June (Lee's Birthday, :O ) at said festival, this year Freddie MacGregor headlining, reggae heaven

Excellent! I'll be well up for that!

Respect mate, I'm not into football and I'm not from around here originally, but I do think it's a scandal that newspapers can spread exaggerations, half truths and downright lies to millions of people every day just to make a buck. I don't buy any of them (except occasionally The Guardian) but The Sun is top of my never buy list.

Yeahh would deffo be up for it like, would be good to get the scousers together inside Glastonbury aswell,

I'm sure alot of people would shit themselves though seeing a huge group of scousers milling round hahaha Prejudice aye ;)

Pleasure rooms is a good shout aswell, maybe move onto the boudoir after it ;)

Dont even get me started on the f**king sun either.

I've got the t-shirt.

Nah no sweat, my mate who comes up regularly usually stays in the Formula 1 (dirt cheap but not very nice from what he says) and he's never had any trouble getting a cab back (I think the company I use run all night). Mind if you feel brave, there is usually a lock in that goes on until about 8am in the morning, when the buses start running again!
