Monday Morning/Afternoon

For CC shuttle, I left at 3.30ish in 2007 and waited 20 mins. At the station 15 mins after, then after about 20 mins was loafing in 'first class' on the festy special back to Paddington.

(And by car, in dry years, similar time and driven straight off).

So, I'm a fan of leaving late. Last year that meant Tuesday lunchtime. Definitely no queues by then. :D

We wake up on Monday and just go when we can be bothered really.

Think it was about 2pm last year, was fine though really, didnt take too long.

i get as hammered as possible on sunday night watch the sun come up then go to bed. wake up at 4ish, takes about an hour to pack up and leave get to the van. change into my clean set of clothes left on the seat and then drive straight out the car park no problems. take a slow drive to kent, usual kfc at fleet, home by 10ish.

A word of warning for those that don't like a quick getaway on Monday - the lock ups close at 4pm and all the stuff gets taken up to Wagonshed Welfare after that time, but it can take at least a couple of hours to get everything sorted once up at the farmhouse. We got caught out a little by this last year and didn't get out of the car parks until about 9.30pm. By that time it was a hassle-free exit of course and all the previous night's excesses had hopefully been expunged.

Monday afternoon/evening is a great time for tatting stuff of course.

Well, here're my two cents...

2007- we packed up around 9-10am. Waited for about four hours in the rain and mud get to get on the coach, a horrible experience!

2008- we hung around until about 2pm, just chilled out in the sun and wandered round, then pretty much strolled onto the coach when we were ready to go! Awesome.

...so yes, I'd wait until the initial rush is over :P Depends on weather though, like some people said, if it's raining, might as well get out whilst everyone else is hiding!
