Lady Gaga has been ordered to take a month off work, after almost collapsing onstage during a recent show in Georgia. The singer, real name Stefani Germanotta, has been globe-trotting in recent months, promoting her album The Fame, and her jet-setting lifestyle has taken its toll on the Just Dance hitmaker - she had a terrifying health scare during a gig in Atlanta earlier this month.

Record company bosses are worried for the workaholic star - and have told her to take August off work to relax and recuperate, according to The Sun newspaper.

A source tells the publication “Stefani has been working relentlessly since last summer. She has criss-crossed the globe on numerous occasions promoting her album... and the pressure has now started to get to her.

“At a recent show in Atlanta she nearly collapsed on stage the day after a particularly wild night out. Her management have spotted the warning signs and do not want her going off the rails.

“They’ve scrapped all her commitments in August to give her time to get her head straight.”

They wouldn't replace her. Everyone knew in 07' that Amy Winehouse wouldn't play weeks in advance & they didn't announce her removal from the line-up until the Friday (heard it on the radio in the car waiting to get into the site). They just moved the existing bands around, much cheaper option.

The line up potentially just improved. After watching her on Jonathon Ross & finally seeing just how contrived & bland she really is this is great news, now all we need is for Lemar, Will Young & Taylor Swift to be sent on a 'smash hits' tour of Mexico.

Not at all, I'll give you the fact that the UK 'Pimp My Ride' is awful but as a kid, being massively into hiphop Tim Westwood (along with HHC magazine) introduced me to soooo many awesome acts I'd never have heard of otherwise. I used to tape the 'top ten at ten' where he played stuff like Onyx, Gravediggaz, Tha Alkaholiks, Craig Mack, Fu-Schnickens, Funkdoobiest, Redman amongst others. I remember hearing the first track from the Wu Tang (Protect Ya Neck?) in about 91' & being absolutely blown away by it.....It's all owed to the big dog.

Anyway Lady GaGa...She really is music for idiots, I'm still not 100% convinced she isn't some elaborate prank by Chris Morris to expose the shit state of radio music.
