Soooo, anyone else excited about this rumour?

I randomly got bought their album for my Birthday and I love it. I've subsequently heard brilliant things about their live shows, so this news has cheers me right up. I'd imagine high FR stage somewhere?

I personally found the album to be very weak but someone on ehre said they were better live than on album.

Can I just confirm whether this is awesome Aussie rockers Airbourne, or some non entity I've never heard of called Airborne Toxic Event.... I fear I already know the answer, but am hoping the header is not a spelling error (though I'm racking my brains to justify the "toxic event" bit...)

Personally I've always found this band to be very ordinary. They are not neccessary that bad, but if truth to be told there's little that jumps out and makes you remember them.

Either way, despite the fact they are supporting Razorlight (which may raise their profile enough to be booked), it's nice to see some American Indie being considered for the lineup by the organisers.

Went to Sheffield to see them last night but the gig got pulled due to an electricity fault.

I was suprised by the attendance though the queue was massive, so i would reckon they will play somewhere on the bill

I have listened to the album a fair bit now and I have grown to really like this band. I hope they play - would be a good addition.

They're playing. Spoke to them after the gig at Koko, and they self-confirmed themselves.

They really are bloody spectacular live.
