Rockness advertised on the TV

Just seen it advertised during Shameless there.

Me thinks it might be struggling with ticket sales, festivals usually don't advertise on TV unless somethings up.

I would expect more competitions to be kicking around shortly for freebies too

Could be something to do with Channel 4 being the official "coverage" provider. I say coverage, i mean Razorlight and the View last year.

I also hope it doesnt sell out. I wont bother with the competitions for rockness. Would rather do my bit to help rockness survive by buying a full price ticket! Would quite happily enter a comp for the likes of T tho!

Btw one of your comments on the forum was published on a little leaflet promoting Rockness. I got it on Friday when I was out. You were basically saying how good Rockness was. Gratz lol

Didn't the 1st one sell out in a matter of days? to be fair it was only on for the sat with a capacity of 10,000. Don't think it was on tv either!

ticket prices have shot up quite a bit since last year so it wouldn't surprise me if they are struggling. i'd like to see them doing well and selling out, although i was glad it didn't sell out last year, cause the arena wasn't too crammed..

Was spaking to a mate at the weekend who said less than 10000 tickets had been sold but whatever happens the festival will definitely go ahead.

The figure came from a second hand source but a pretty relaible one. Have to admit I'd be surprised if that figure was accurate, surely more than 10000 been sold so far?!?
