We're looking at leaving site during the early hours of Monday morning in order to avoid the Monday morning rush.

What are the car park stewards like when it comes to sleeping in your car cos we're looking at packing up the tent & loading the car late on Sunday afternoon (during an appropriate lull in performances)?

Don't want to leave it until Monday morning as I don't fancy a 3/4/5 hour stint in the carpark waiting to get out.

We headed back to the car after the last acts on Sunday night last year. There was a bit of a queue to get out so we ended up putting our heads down for about 3 hours and nobody bothered us. Left round about 4am and got straight out.

EDIT: We had also packed up our stuff on the Sunday afternoon and had taken it back to the car.

From The Fine Guide 2009 - "Absolutely no sleeping, camping or fires are allowed in the car parks."

Having said that me and a mate spent 3 nights in my car in 98 after our tent got flooded without any problems. Chances are no one would see you.
