If it were the Prodigy (which i very much doubt), it would be a catastrophic clash with Blur. Two bands that were both massive in the 90s with a lot of mutual fans. I think that would be bad planning in my opinion

Really is time for Michael to bury the hatchet with all these acts who can't play cos he doesn't get along with them...so far it's costing us The Prodigy, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, and The Cure...all of whom are on the circuit this year and would be great additions.

Royksopp would be amazing! But probably not headlining though, maybe a saturday sundown slot like elbow did last year. I know one thing: If that happened I would NOT miss it.

I reckon Basement Jaxx or Kanye West are on the cards for sunday night, Kanye being the most likely of the two. Glasvegas definately will not headline, they are the most boring band on the planet and will probably be second before kanye.

As for the friday, I'm hoping for Sonic Youth!

Compared to The Streets, probably one of the biggest selling acts in this country this century who have had 4 top 10 albums (2 number 1's) and 12 top 40 singles all in the last 6 years?

i have a friend who works in a car garage in shepton mallet and he was told by someone he tells me is ME's secretary that prodigy are headlining the sunday night on the other stage also that status quo are playing the pyramid on sunday. the thing that worries me however is the fact he was told girls aloud are performing at some point. don't shoot me, i'm just the messenger!

Aren't Blur on on the Sunday though (I could be wrong about this). Surely it would be a bit of an odd decision to run two bands which draw fans from a similar demographic at the same time as headliners?
