Bringing alcohol

Last year the only restriction about bringing alcohol into the festival (that i knew of) was no glass bottles.

Are there any more restrictions this year that i need to know about?

Only restriction is no glass, you can bring what ever you want and as much as you can carry !!!

Personally I could never be arsed to carry a slab of beer in. Too much effort for the reward.

Wine boxes work well. If you enjoy neat spirits, decant into plastic bottles:

Cool labels. Could have done with one for my pal who made the fatal (not literally) mistake of swigging what he thought was water first thing in the morning.......it was vodka.

In theory, it's 'enough for personal consumption', but I think that rule is rather loosely interpreted! The bloke behind me in the queue for Gate B last year had six crates of Strongbow on a sack truck...

we took in 14 cases of beer on trucks last year between 6 of us, no one said anything.

My tent mate at TITP last year decanted his Southern Comfort into a Pepsi bottle last year and forgot to remove the label.

I woke up on the Sunday morning with the worst hangover I've ever had at a festival, see this bottle of Pepsi lying there and take about 3 gulps before I realised what was in it!

Moral of the story is make sure you know what is in a bottle and don't steal your mate's Pepsi kids!

Yeah, just soaked the labels off the original bottles and sellotaped them to the plastic bottles.

It adds a certain je ne sais quois, I think.

I also made up a little kit of a couple of metal shot glasses, a bag of pre-cut lime wedges and a little tub of salt
