I go against what everyone else says...sorry everyone B) Personally, I prefer to decant bottles into smaller 500ml bottles. But, that is because I am small and for me I find it easier to carry from the car to the site if the weight is distributed around my back pack than if I have to carry the box.

I did bottles in the end as i had an m&s wine discount voucher and bought one i actually like, rather than a box of 1 ive never tried.

just gonna decanter into bottles. as ur gonna need to with a box one anyway?! plus red wine needs to breathe. its vile straight out the bottle. so win all round

Carlsberg don't do boxes wine, but if they did...

Hehe, but seriously, am liking the Pennard Organic Vineyard idea, but we'll take some too. There seems to be a preference for Sauv Blancs in our group, so I was looking for a nice NZ one.. so far found a Chilean one at Sainsburys in 3L boxes (I've tried linking to it but doesn't work), anyone else seen any good deals?

always take wine boxes and put the bag into a rucksack for walking around the festival. Yes they are VERY durable so no chance of bursting unless you sit on it maybe. Ive even fell right on my back in the mud and it didnt burst...and thats some weight. lookeed like a turtle trying to turn over!!!!

I use a 33cl bottle of water full of wine to walk around with. Red wine is better warm anyway and it really works and no spillages. and if you get the bottles with pull tops then you dont even have to open them.

At least 1 box per day per couple

1 tip. Try liquorice allsorts for munchies. they go great with red wine.

Then vodka and red bull/sitting bull for a pick me up when I start flagging.
