found it late on the sunday saw a few cabaret acts in a tent, found a tea tent where everyone was dancing. had lots of fun. just wondered whats the idea behind? what else is there? should i have spent more of my festiuval tinme there

CF has been in the same spot in the greenfields for years - has some great stuff on there (powered by wind and solar). They do there own little festival in Wales now as well.

I remember seeing Banco de Gaia at 3am at the Croissant Neuf years ago. There were terrible technical problems, because he had an awful lot of kit that, er, hadn't been invented with power economy in mind. But it all worked out in the end.

I can't believe that writeup had nothing about the bike. Unless it's changed, there's a row of bikes rigged up to generators. You can volunteer to hop on and provide some juice for the batteries.

in addition to the main tent, you can see that sort of bandstand thing on the right there, always fun, I remember dancing to some proper mutant techno folk there on Friday afternoon last year. Alos, on the left there, isn't that Jamesontheverge's wooden table/fungi?

Yes, another of those places I always mean to visit, but never seem to get around too doing so with all the other distractions on site these days. Years ago in the '90's when there were less stages around I remember visiting regularly. Saw Lost T_Shirts of Atlantis there and my mate got up and played the 'double-bath' thing they had briefly.
