Best place to camp for 18 year olds wanting to be in the thick of it?

Wondering where best place 2 camp for group of us, not worried about a good nights sleep cider shuld sort that, more about meeting people and havin a laff but being in a good place for the best music and general atmosphere, thanks!

When are you arriving? pennards is known for being lively. But it fills up pretty quickly so would need to arrive first thing.

Otherwise we camped in the field sort of in front of the pyramid stage the other year. if you are standing in front of the stage and looking away from it, it is sort of to the left a bit. That was quite lively.

We shall be returning to Park Home Ground this year as it is the right end for all the night life and we loved it there last year.

Seconded... I'm 24 and the youngest of our group. However think I will be at Pennards, so will be able to show 'these kids' a thing or two about 'doing' a festival.

The one piece of advise i will give the trainee's is to remember...

Its a marathon....Not a sprint.

The way I see it each day is a marathon, not the weekend as a whole! Go for it Wednesday/Thursday night, but not too much in the morning!

Pennards sounds like its the best place to be though, dont know much about it, is it in a central location for pyramid, other, trash city etc.?

Its all about Holts this year It seems to be the best option because I know on many occassions I will be too drunk to walk very far from the Brother Bar.
