Family Camping Fields

Recommended Posts

A friend of ours is bringing his 12 year old to Glastonbury and has asked our advice - first time for both of them. I think there are 3 diferent family camping areas - Spring Ground, Cockmill Meadow & Paines Ground.

We've been several times but have no experience of the family camping thing as our kids are older & camp independently - we have a campervan.

Please could you share any thoughts or advice you have? Cheers. MB

i took my daughter last year and we didnt stay in the family bit mainly because there was a few of my friends going to. to be honest a 12 year old will probably want to just be in the middle of it all. i didnt have any bother at all in the regular camping bit, that said it was one of the quieter fields. i recon the plus side of the family field is clean loos and some other kids, plus there is better security.
