If it is Office 2007 then you can use the plugi-n that Microsoft supply

I use Cute PDF - available as a free download, just Google it. It installs on your computer as another printer and then you can create PDFs from any program that you can print from simply by clicking File - Print and then choosing Cute PDF as the printer.
