i would say you would die in that if anything like the biblical thunder storms should arrise again this year like in 2005. I would only buy this for a beach party in the summer hot months. deffo a no no, i got mine for 44 quid off ebay a gelert tornado 4, it will do the job. you can get a decent tent for around 40 quid these days.

PS. It sucks that you've got no cash at the moment but it's worth scraping a bit more together. This tent will last you a year, two years tops. Even a very basic dome tent with an inner should last you 10 years or more if you look after it (which *is* possible even at festivals).

Example for £35 - nothing special about this one, but it ticks all the boxes:

hell to the no!!!!!!!!!

it doesnt offer ANY information on the specs of the tent and that video shows u just how cheap and crap it is.

u can buy a decent double lined tent for cheaper than that (sales). the pop up ones are tripe and cost over the odds.

i cant believe how thin that piece of crap is.

Hello all,

Sorry for the hijacking of this thread but didn't think twas worth making a new one.

Millets have a deal on at the moment where most items are buy one get one half price.

So, for footwear I have stuff to wear if the weather is nice, and wellies for if it is awful, but I think I need some heavy duty boots for 'inbetween' weather...

So I have seen these http://www.millets.co.uk/footwear/men/product/083004.html .

Also, I am after a new tent, needs to fit just me (hate sharing!!) but need room as well as don't like being so cramped. So...

http://www.millets.co.uk/camping/tents/3-4...uct/096021.html seems to fit the bill?

I can get both of these (with teh offers on the website for a little over 60 quid. Just looking to see if anyone a bit more in the know can tell me whether this is a good deal? and if they are going to be good enough to do the job.

Thanks in advance :D

Argos have also reduced prices on a lot of camping gear so it's well worth checking out. My Pro-action tent has been to Leeds fest 3 times and I've never had a problem with it, withstood heavy rain and plenty of space (the green and cream coloured 4 man Pro Action two bedroom tent).

In regards to your boots, I imagine with the steel toe-cap and the strengthened sole, they will weight a ton!! wouldnt imagine you'll get much movement in them either for walking about.

The tent looks similar to the one i had last year (eurohike kent)... superb wee tent, I was just about able to sit in the porch area.
