Wooderson
Would be worth going along to see if only for "Sweet", "Gabriel" and especially "Gorecki" which is staggeringly good.

lofichic
I don't know why, but I seem to be imagining that they're headlining. That would be unlikely, I know, but also utterly amazing. Bugger Neil Young! (not literally....) Oh my god. I cannot, cannot wait to see Lamb again. I don't normally have a must see at all at Glasto, and now I have two, on different days. Just too much. airwaves
I 'discovered' for myself Lamb back in the 90's sometime at Glasto. Was walking across from The Other Stage towards Jazz / World (or whatever it was called then) but was still only in the intervening field (where the god squad usually are) and I 'felt' the bass and was therefore attracted. Have been one of my all-time favorites ever since and seen them several times since then. I do so hope they are early-ish so they don't clash with Neil Young. HOT JON
they were the best thing i saw this year and probably one of my top ten shows ever, (although at the time i was so enthused i was just saying they were the best thing i've ever seen) anyone else see them? anyone get any footage of the show? (bbc is shit and youtube is proving unhelpful) it was soooooooooo good!!!!!
spikytom
yeah i was there, right down the front, and they were AWESOME!! great to hear all the classics played in such a crisp and tight way. With the exception of blur, i'd say lamb were the best thing i saw all weekend too!
lofichic
Blur and Lamb my two favourites. They were truly blessed to be playing there, I cried, danced and bounced. Amazing and stunning.
LusciousLucy
Finally...this show gets mentioned! Was a very long time coming this concert for me. Never saw them before but had to see this show...Gorecki was such a highlight. Found Storm in the crowd...we were very nicely near to the front and things did get a little blubby and huggy that was for sure! Amazing! Show wasnt long enough....could have gone on for hours! She has such an amazing voice. Have had the tune in my head all day. Thanks to FairiesforChange for playing the entire back catalogue at Avebury helping push me towards getting to see this show! mucky_g
As others have said they were my favourite act of the festival along with Blur. A magical set.
gizmoman
A magical set again, just like their last Avalon appearance, so glad they're back together, did anyone notice Andy crying? his nose went all red! he was just so happy.
RoisinH
Beautiful, magical and all of that jazz. Something I thought I wouldn't see, as only got into them after the hiatus...I cried many a time but Heaven into Gabriel was so, so special. Their energy really blew me away too, they really pack a punch live. Did anyone else see what my group could only guess to have been the Eavis' in a crane over the crowd taking pictures etc? True Glastonbury moment.
krisskross
Spine shiveringly good. had me in shakes for the whole set!

angelheaded hipster
How did I miss this thread?? Saw them in 2004 at Glasto which was a wee bit emotional, and was awesome to see them back this year. Just wonderful. Can we do it again next year, please?!
