hey everyone im in a massive dilemma now.. having already got most things for glastombury (and pre glastonbury try the tents out camping in 2 weeks) i went to grab my sleeping bag and its gone. cant find it anywhere

so i have to go buy a new one..

however i still have to buy a new rucksack and im really skint so i cant spend a lot of a sleeping bag

i do need it to be fairly warm and i need it to be quite wide as i get claustrophobic if i cant move around

so while i dont mind mummy bags i dont like the mummy bags with really tight feet space.

ideally id like a pink or purple one but that isnt that important

also do cheap bags work ok as i dont want it to break as soon as i get in otherside it will be a cold festival..

i managed to get a purple one..

ive gone for the mummy option for the warmth although the sleeping bag suits were wonderful just coudlnt justify the cost, although roll on next year with hopefully more money

found this really good cheap website

http://www.leisureshack.co.uk/camping-caravanning.aspx

and there was a 85L rucksack on there that i really wanted to buy (as it turns out have also lost rucksack.. think i possibly forgot to move camping stuff when i moved house)

so i bought the sleeping bag off there..

thankyou to everyone.. didnt realise there were so many options out there,

i now have to convince the boyfriend to buy me a new tent as i also noticed a pink one on the site lol

going to hold a car boot sale i think .. lol

I had a regular sleeping bag last year and I was freezing on some of the nights so had to buy another one to double up! I now have a mummy bag and I know I'll be warm whatever the weather but I know what you mean about the snug fit, but then that's what helps keep you warm. The advice about an air bed is a must, you need to make sure you're off the ground, and to be extra cosy if you take a blanket have this on top of the airbed. Make sure you buy a decent quality airbed though and test it before you go! My friend brought one from Morrisons for camping the other week and it went down straight away.

I have got a lot of things from Mountain Life this year including my mummy bag and a micro towel which is amazing, about the same size as a big bath towel, it doesn't take up much space at all and dries super quick.

They do have a mummy bag that looks like it might be bigger than normal?

And a pink one but only season 1
