Alltough I know it kind of have to be bad per definition, but how on earth can you keep on making the contributions worse for every year.. you english people are supposed to be better at music then Azerbadjan, arnt you?

Jens, it may come as a shock to you, but this country doesn't take it seriously. No one gives a flying f**k. Its just a chance for countries with no popular music talent to feel good about themselves by winning something completely useless.

I'd say we do take it seriously in that we vote who represents us. And the fact that this years entry sounds like a carbon copy of Leona Lewis shows how seriously a lot of the public seem to take it.

Actually I do think we take it very seriously. It's a public vote and we seriously get a kick out of being a laughing stock in the eyes of the world, it's all we have left, it's the new essence of Englishness in the 21st century. What could be more English than to send somebody who thinks their good blindly out in to the world to be ridiculed, demoralised and then eaten alive when they get back for being stupid enough to think they could win? Where else is Jonathan Ross going to get his material from?

A Song for Europe and the Eurovision have always taken up our viewing time.

I enjoyed watching Eurovision cus of Wogan (Graham Norton is going to be f**king awful at it). Its funny cus its so cack, but I still think that the vast majority of people in this country couldn't give a f**k how well we did, which is very different from a lot of countries who enter
