Despite the vaunted Bot protection, it's certainly easier to "game" if you have sufficient resource of the correct type. Something I'll be working on today.
So on balance I'd say no.
LCD would be incredible. Been lucky to have caught them twice at Glasto and watched their set from this year on BBC which looked ace.
Not typically the type of act this festival promotes though. I'd imagine the headliners will be more indie / rock leaning.
I think because there is less effort required, it will encourage more people to give it a go which reduces the chances for us veterans. Is that fairer? Maybe but doesn’t reward the most desperate. I like the old system. It worked for me.
Neither product has alot of sugar in it.
Bands like Blink 182 etc have been throwing dogshit merch at kids for years and branded it cool (atticus etc). This isn't anything new, its just a different form.
Doesn't feel realistic that someone who has always actively wanted to play the UK & Europe would skip the continent entirely on a new album tour.
Presumably Huw was referring to the dates he'd seen (ie those) when he said May. Don't think his statement suggests that there won't be any further dates, so wouldn't be a surprise to see 10-20 UK/Europe dates added for June+July.
