I reckon it's way too corporate for Glasto, seen it at Leeds before and it's really popular, and handy for those ace batteries, saved me a fortune!

Must get some batteries now I think of it.....

i don't mean to hijack the thread, but it seems the question's been answered. What is the chill 'n' charge tent like? Is it like loads of tables and stuff with mobile charging wires? Also, I heard someone saying bout getting a pc in there or something (no idea what they meant) Is this true? cheers

Yes, a bunch of tables with charging wires on it, some have PC stations with internet access. There are maps up inside showing which type of phones on which table etc.

That reminded me, I just went off to ebay and got a spare battery for my phone so I don't have to waste precious time getting it charged! £3, jobs a good un!

This is the Duracell Powerhouse.....

It's a great thing, granted it has a massive company slapped across the side but 1. it gives out FREE batteries and 2. it pumps out some banging electro tunes. If it was at Glastonbury I'd be straight there at night!

Does it give out free proper AA batteries? (just to make sure I'm not confused?!) My camera takes double AAs so that would be awesome! Usually I just stock up on lots before the festival. Never seen one though, doubt they will be there.

You give them any make of battery and they will replace it. So if your camera takes 3 AA batteries, take 3 old AAs and they will swap them. Same as the Carling Beer Amnesty, any beer and they replace it for a cold one.

Doubt either will be at Glastonbury though, unfortunately.

Sounds great! I'm not too good at clearing out my handbags and seem to collect dead batteries. Still can't see one being at Glastonbury though but hey ho!

Just thought I would add as well, this time in six weeks I shall be very excited as tomorrow morning will be the big journey to Glastonbury. Yay!
