O.K folks, this is my first post, so hello there. I'm looking to travel, probably by plane. Flying into Bristol seems to be the best, and probably most popular option. I was just wondering how easy/difficult it'd be to get from the Airport to the Festival. Is there actual Festival Shuttles running, or is it Public transport?

Also, what's the script re taking tents on a plane? Could you get that on as hand luggage, or are they gonna charge you an extra £16 (Easyjet) I'm flying from Glasgow by the way.

Ta much.

Your hold luggage has to be 20kg or less, unless you pay for more, you are only allowed a certain size of bag as hand luggage, I'm hoping my backpack will be ok. My tent and rucksack are going in the the hold. I'm flying down from Newcastle to Bristol but fortunately I'm getting lifts from and back to the airport.

Cost me about £100 flying from Dublin. Plan is to get the national coach to the site from the airport.

I was told a taxi from the airport to Glastonbury would be about £100? Anyone have an ideas if that's right?

Split four ways, £20 each seems a pretty good deal.
