do you think we'll get the names next week? i think they started teaseing a week before last year...

I think it's useful for listening to new artists. Like if I see that one day is already stacked for me and one is rather weak, I can focus on the weak day to fill it up a bit. Looking at a poster of 150 names is a bit overwhelming in that regard.

I'd expect to see Katy J Pearson, Anna Erhard and Warmduscher somewhere in there. Hopefully anyway!

It literally could come down to a few thousand votes in a hand ful states and ends up looking like a landslide for either side.

They do seem to constantly subtly chop and change the style/genre of the festival each year, even if the overarching theme is "alternative", it doesn't seem interested in catering for exactly the same audience each year. I think that's quite nice, even if this is a bit of a miss for me. I like CMAT though!   It'll do OK I expect.
